Who Can Join

Voting and non-voting membership categories are available for organizations and/or persons who are interested in actively working within the greater Metro OKC area to:

• adequately address key areas of the no-kill plan;
• support the actions identified as integral to becoming a no-kill community, and
• promote the humane ethic of Metro Alliance for Animal Life.

Membership Levels

Government and Corporate Agency Member

Any incorporated organization/agency or municipality entity who agrees to uphold the mission of the Alliance and agrees to help further the mission of the Alliance. Each agency shall appoint one person (and an alternate) to be their delegate and vote on their behalf. Annual dues - $200.

Corporate Non-profit and Not for Profit Agency Member

Any corporate non-profit or not-for-profit organization who agrees to uphold the mission of the Alliance and agrees to help further the mission of the Alliance. Each organization shall appoint one person (and an alternate) to be their delegate and vote on their behalf. Annual dues - $100.

Associate Member

Any individual who agrees to uphold the mission of the Alliance and agrees to help further the mission of the Alliance. Members of this category may run for office, join committees and vote in committee meetings, but do not vote at general meetings. Individual members are encouraged to attend general meetings with voice, to express opinions, participate in discussions, propose initiatives and make motions. Annual dues - $20.
